CONTROLS IN PLACE:

• Performer is trained in safe use of equipment.
  
• Performance space in venue allows act to performed with ample clearance from flammable object, minimum of 3 metres.
  
• Ample clearance allowed for between performers and audience. 
  
• Costumes regularly fire proofed with flame-check flame retardant spray

• Minimal fuel taken to the venue in a metal container.
• Performance area will be inspected by performer for any signs of combustion at the end of the performance.
• All fire equipment  will be fully extinguished before leaving and stored in an air tight metal container.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stewards maybe required to mark out clearance area to prevent public access to performance area.
  
• Fire safety equipment, 1 Water Fire Extinguisher with a capacity of 8.2 litres or a dry powder extinguisher with a weight more than 1.2 kilograms, to be supplied by event organisers/venue. Fire Blanket complying with BS EN 1869 to be supplied by performer.
